  • How do I know if I need to register for the North Carolina ELT electronic lien and title service?

    If your business is named as the lienholder on a North Carolina title you need to register and use the North Carolina Electronic Lien and Title service. Likewise, if you are a North Carolina licensed financial institution that holds a security interest in a North Carolina titled vehicle, you are required to enroll in the mandatory ELT Program.
